NIOS Training

Stepping stones center in association with Saandeepani Academy For Excellence, Sarjapur, Bangalore has launched Pre – NIOS programme from 31^st March 2023

• NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) is an alternate form of education provided by the Ministry of Education, Government of India to cater to the needs of a heterogeneous group of learners up to pre-degree level through Open learning system.
• NIOS started as a project with in-built flexibilities by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
• It provides flexibility in the choice of subjects/courses, pace of learning and exams.
• It paves a way for Children with special needs, sports personalities, art students etc., to complete their School level education with more accessible provisions.

Benefits of NIOS

• Both theory and practical oriented subjects
• Traditional school covering in 1 year may be done in 4 or 5 years or even more, if the student desires
• Flexibility in exam –Students can learn at their own pace and attend the examination within 5 years of time. After completing 5 exams students will receive their certificates provisions
• The Open Schooling courses of study of NIOS have the same standard and equivalence as the course of study of other national/state level Boards of School Education.
• Learners have joined colleges and professional institutions after completing their studies from NIOS.
