Helping Children Build Skills for Life

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a research-backed therapy approach that helps children with autism and other developmental needs build essential life skills. At Stepping Stones Center, ABA therapy is delivered in an ethical , personalized, and structured way that prioritizes your child’s growth and emotional well-being.

The program supports children across different age groups and developmental stages to strengthen communication, behavior, independence, and learning readiness.

What Is ABA Therapy?

ABA is a scientific approach that studies how people learn and behave, ultimately helping individuals become more independent and successful in their lives.. It employs structured strategies, such as positive reinforcement, modeling, and prompting, to teach meaningful skills and reduce behaviors that hinder learning.

Key areas ABA therapy supports:

  • Functional communication
  • Focus and attention
  • Emotional regulation
  • Social and play skills
  • Academic readiness
  • Self-help and daily routines

Who Is ABA Therapy For?

This therapy is well-suited for children who:

  • Are diagnosed with or show signs of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Struggle with behavior, communication, or learning in structured settings
  • Need help adjusting to group environments like school
  • Benefit from 1-on-1 support with clear structure and repetition

Children do not need a formal diagnosis to begin. Services begin with a behavior and developmental screening.
